How do you know when you need trauma therapy?

Sometimes living with trauma feels so familiar that it’s hard to realize when to seek support. It might feel like it’s all you know, but I promise, there is a way to find relief…

You might notice yourself constantly on edge, moving through your day like you’re on a train going too fast, or denying your own needs because everything already feels like too much. Maybe you’ve spent years in caretaker roles, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling guilty every time you try to say no.

Your emotions might feel intense or unpredictable or completely shut down the next. You may catch yourself spiraling into negative thoughts, questioning your worth, or feeling stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, guilt, or shame.

You might feel disconnected from your passion, creativity, or sense of direction, or notice that old wounds keep opening up in new situations. Even your desire for connection can feel tangled in anxiety, leaving you distant or guarded even when you crave support.

If this feels familiar, it’s not because you’re failing at life, it’s a signal that your body has been working overtime, trying to protect you in off beat ways.

Therapy for trauma in Seattle can help.

Trauma therapy can help you slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the overwhelm, and support you through reconnecting to a version of yourself that feels more authentic.

Therapy provides you with a new perspective and chance to show up differently for yourself and others.

Together, we’ll work in a way that helps you feel more at peace in your body, more connected to yourself, more tools to move through your day with added ease and self-trust.

What Working Through Trauma With Me Feels Like

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in charge of what’s happening inside you. Trauma therapy with me is all about giving you real-life tools so your mind and body can finally ease out of “survival mode” and into a life with more presence, self-esteem, and self trust. It’s warm, empowering, and very “we’re navigating this together.”

Here’s what that looks like:

  • Making sense of what your nervous system is doing so things finally feel less confusing

  • Finding grounding tools that work in your real life (chaos, errands, work, emotions and all)

  • Practicing how to resource yourself when everything inside feels loud or overwhelming

  • Learning to set boundaries that feel strong, honest, and guilt-free

  • Catching your triggers before they take over your whole day

  • Reconnecting with the parts of you that are resilient, intuitive, and ready to lead

Relationship healing therapy in Seattle, WA

Yes, we may explore some challenging moments… but we do it slowly and safely. That means we take tiny steps, pause when needed, and adjust the pace based on what your body and emotions are telling us. I’m attuned to when to lean in and when to gently ease off the pedal. No forcing. No pushing. Just supportive, regulated healing at a pace that helps your body connect the dots with your brain.

We’ll do meaningful work, and we’ll also stay human in the process… breathing, grounding, and even laughing together when your system needs a lighter moment.

If you’re ready for support that’s attuned, empowering, and deeply respectful of your needs, I’m here.

And here’s the part that truly matters…

My approach to trauma therapy

*

My approach to trauma therapy *

My approach to trauma therapy is holistic, which simply means I look at you as a whole person, not just your thoughts or behaviors, but your body, your life force, emotions, lifestyle, and the deeper places where your patterns live. I blend psychology with things that actually help people feel better in real life: nervous system support, mind–body practices, creativity, nature, intuition, spirituality, nutrition, and even hormonal or brain-health awareness when it matters.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all way of healing. If it supports your growth, your clarity, or your sense of self… we use it! If it doesn’t resonate, we throw it out! Together, we’ll create an environment that feels natural, grounded, and tailored to who you are.

If you’re curious about working together, I’d love to meet you.
